About
Leticia Pardo is an architectural designer and multidisciplinary artist. Her practice lies in the boundaries between architecture, research & art. She has focused her career towards the field of museums, designing exhibitions and interpretive spaces at multiple organizations such as the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the Detroit Institute of Art, the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporaneo in Mexico City, the Museo Amparo in Puebla and the Art Institute of Chicago (AIC), where she held the role of Creative Director of Exhibition Design. Prior to her experience at AIC, Leticia was part of the design team at Ralph Appelbaum Associates in New York, and in Mexico City, at the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo and the Centro Cultural Universitario Tlatelolco at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Leticia’s work explores ways in which place making, migration and borders inform our built environments. Her work has been featured at the FotoMuseo Cuatro Caminos in Mexico City, The São Paulo Architecture Biennial, the Chicago Architecture Biennial, the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA), among others.
