About
Daniel Luis Martinez is an architectural designer and educator. He has worked at leading architectural practices in New York, including Allied Works and Weiss/Manfredi, developing innovative public and cultural projects. His research investigates the intersection of analog craft and digital processes. Daniel teaches graduate design studios and will oversee the J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program's digital software and fabrication lab. Building on the unique manufacturing and architectural legacy of Columbus, the lab will focus on tethering emerging fabrication and representation techniques to the values of place, culture, and human practices. His writing and professional work have been published and recognized internationally.
