The J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program (Miller M.Arch) at Indiana University is housed in the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design, within the College of Arts and Sciences, the home of liberal arts at IU Bloomington. The school offers a range of master’s degrees at the Bloomington campus and at The Republic Building in Columbus, a city that is nationally known for its outstanding examples of great modern architecture.
The program reimagines the links between art, architecture, and the city by educating architects to be civic minded, innovative, and imaginative world thinkers.

Welcome to the the J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program in Columbus, Indiana! We're eager to share the advantages of earning your Master of Architecture degree here.
Located in the nation's sixth most architecturally significant city, the program combines the resources of a major research university with an immersive design culture.
Our students study masterworks by walking to them, engage real community needs, and create projects that move beyond paper into built and impactful work. Our graduates develop a creative identity that prepares them to meet complex challenges with imagination and purpose. With our NAAB-accredited degree, students develop an architectural practice enriched by artistic inquiry, with two-thirds of coursework taking place in studios.
The Miller Architecture Program's hands-on educational model embodies the ethos of the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design of which it is part. Our internationally recognized faculty cultivate a community grounded in expansive and interconnected learning. There are exceptional opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration within the rich academic environment of Indiana University.
