Brittain Brewer studied architecture, interior design, and city and regional planning at Auburn University. Since graduating in 1981 he has worked for various architectural firms in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and in Portland, Oregon. Most notably, in Pennsylvania, Mr. Brewer worked for the firm of Venturi Rauch and Scott Brown / Venturi Scott Brown & Associates on two landmark projects, the Seattle Art Museum and the Sainsbury Wing of the National Gallery in London. In Portland, Oregon Mr. Brewer has served as a Senior Designer for Nike, Inc. as an early and key contributor to the success of the NIKETOWN program, as the Owner of his own retail design firm. He has worked as the Director of Interiors for LRS Architects, and as a Senior Associate for the SRG Partnership. Since 2009 Mr. Brewer has played a key role in the development of DDP Architecture’s scope of services and technical approach to management and design as well as continuing to work in commercial and residential design in Portland, Oregon as bbrewerdesign.
